1. To Restrain

“The law was our guardian until Christ came…” – Galatians 3:24

2. To Convict

“For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight,

 since through the law comes knowledge of sin.” – Romans 3:20

3. To Guide

“So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous

and good.” –  Romans 7:12
