Comparing Elizabeth’s and Mary’s Sons:

1) John’s birth was miraculous, but Jesus’ birth was uniquely miraculous.

2) John was filled with the Holy Spirit, but Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit

3) John would be a prophet of the Most High, but Jesus would be the Son of the Most High

4) John would prepare for the coming Messiah, but Jesus was the coming Messiah.

5) John would turn people to the Lord, but Jesus would reconcile people to the Lord.
