A Picture of the Mission of Jesus

1) He cares for the broken

“When the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her…” (7:13)

2) He crosses boundaries for our sake

“Then he came up and touched the bier, and the bearers stood still.” (7:14)

3) He calls the dead to new life

“And he said, ‘Young man, I say to you, arise.’ And the dead man sat up and began to speak.” (7:14-15)
