Matthew 1:18-25

• A man of righteousness

“And her husband Joseph, being a just man…” (1:19)

• A man of compassion

“…unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly.” (1:19)

• A man of obedience

“He did as the angel of the Lord commanded him” (1:24)

• A man of courage

“And he rose and took the child and his mother by night and departed to Egypt.” (2:14)
